School may be out for the summer, but research has shown that taking a break from reading over the summer can have a significant impact when students return to school in September. The key to preventing learning loss over the summer is simple; it is reading regularly!

Below are a few guidelines to follow in order to fully participate in the summer reading program:
* Read books that you have not previously read.
* Complete the summer reading response form when you have completed a book. Click here or use the book response form tab to submit.
* Talk about the books you are reading with your family members and friends.
* Read books between June 14, 2014 and August 20, 2014.
All participants are eligible for an award when they return to school in September.
